Yes, your product's star-rating and Reviews will be shown in Google search results when using Conversio's Product Review widgets. We will automatically add rich, semantic markup to your product pages which Google can then index. In other words, the rich markup will make your search results (for your product pages) look like this:
This will increase your visibility among other search results (that don't have this data), as well as add credibility (via social proof) to your listing. Overall you can expect a bump in your general SEO strategy. :)
There are two steps to set this up:
Set up one of our Reviews widgets on your product pages. Here's the details on how to do that.
Once the widget is live on your product page(s), you are going to want to alert Google that there is changes on those pages so that they can re-index this. This is how you can request Google to re-index those pages.
(If you don't do this, Google will automatically re-index your pages based on their own timeline. Since their timeline is unknown, we recommend that you request the re-indexing.)
You can also test that this is working and that Google will index your product pages (with your reviews and ratings) correctly:
Once you have the Reviews widget on your product pages, go to Google's Structured Data Testing Tool.
Enter the URL for one of your product pages (that is already using the widget) into the required field..
On the right-hand side, find the block that says "PRODUCT". When you click on that, you should see information like this which confirms that the meta data will be indexed properly (once Google indexes it):
