Overview

Conversio already handles the dynamic and intelligent segmentation of your customers, now you can add that intelligent segmentation to your current email service provider. Connect to your MailChimp or Campaign Monitor accounts here. Once you've connected, we'll sync your customer segments to new lists inside your MailChimp or Campaign Monitor account.

Note: Please be mindful of any possible increase in your MailChimp fees as a result of the integration, since the integration may create a higher number of subscribers in your MailChimp lists.

Statistics show that sending emails to segmented lists (compared to unsegmented lists) increases opens, clicks and conversions while decreasing unsubscribes.

Example use cases:

  • For your next promotional newsletter, send different versions to repeat and inactive customers to better understand how these two segments engage with you.
  • Send a one-off email with a time-sensitive discount to idle or "at-risk" customers to win them back.

Customer Segments

All Customers: This applies to all of your customers.

First-Time Buyers: Customers who have made exactly one purchase in your store.

Repeat Customers: Any customer that has made two or more purchases.

Active Repeat Customers: Customers who have made two or more purchases, and the time since their last order is less than the average repeat purchase time (for your store).

"At-Risk" Repeat Customers: Customers who have made two or more purchases, and the time since their last order is more than the average repeat purchase time (for your store), but less than 3X the average repeat purchase time.

"Inactive" Repeat Customers: Customers who have made two or more purchases, and the time since their last order is more than 3X the average repeat purchase time (for your store).

Potential Customers: Potential customers who have abandoned a cart, but never made a purchase in the past.
